We offer creative support to help craft the perfect vows for each partner.
Plus, we can be as involved in the wedding event as much as“You Want,” like helping you plan your entire ceremony with music, adding in rituals like the Unity Candle or Hand-Fastening, etc. No matter what, your special day will be magical and everything will be personalized to your taste and stamp of approval.

**This document presents the ceremony details in order helping everyone involved understand what happens at each step. It is especially useful when there is no wedding planner or when the bride is coordinating the ceremony herself. It is a helpful aid to the Couple in a time where additional stress or worry is not needed, the ceremony is covered in this document. You can use this timing script during your rehearsal and would not need the officiant to attend.

Ceremony Services Detail:
Our traditional ceremony pricing is very reasonable for the high quality of Wedding Officiant services we provide every Bride and Groom.
1. Conduct an initial consultation call, averaging 20 minutes. Requesting the wedding questionnaire to be completed. https://forms.gle/KKbTvYxEvUuBt2xn6
The questionnaire is created in Google, sign in required.
2. Meet & Greet with the Bride and Groom via Google Meet to get to know them, averaging 60 minutes.
3. Enter into contract with the Officiant and submit the 50% retainer fee.
4. The Officiant will create a personalized ceremony script for the Bride and Groom, averaging 2–3 hours.
5. Email the first draft of the personalized ceremony script to the Couple for review.
6. Hold a Google Meet to discuss the first draft of the ceremony, averaging 30 minutes.
7. Hold a final Google Meet with the Bride and Groom 1-2 weeks prior to the wedding date to review the final ceremony script and finalize ceremony details, averaging 30–60 minutes.
8. Attend the rehearsal for an additional fee, averaging 1 hour, with arrival 30 minutes before the scheduled start time; or, if rehearsal attendance is not needed, provide a requested ceremony timing script.
9. Attend the ceremony, averaging 2 hours, with arrival 45 minutes before the scheduled start time.
10. Officiant responsible for returning the marriage license to the County Clerk’s office either in person or by USPS Certified Mail, signature required.
TLM Creative Services - Weddings is a full-service wedding officiant business. We specialize in ceremonies of all kinds!
We are based out of the greater Lansing, Michigan area, and are available to travel to surrounding communities, including Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and much of the Detroit area, typically within a 100-mile radius.
The company is owned by Teri McNea. During the busy season, her youngest son, Jack, also officiates when available. Teri is also supported by two wedding assistants: her grandson Evan and youngest daughter Brooke, who take turns attending weddings and provide wonderful support.

We work closely with every couple, no matter what type of celebration they are planning. Through video calls, phone, texts, and email, we get to know each couple—and they get to know us—which is important when they are trusting us with such a meaningful day.
We offer a variety of commitment ceremonies, including elopements, spiritual and interfaith ceremonies, second weddings, and more. We proudly serve couples of all faiths and LGBTQ+ couples.

“We went on Thumbtack to find a low-cost wedding officiant and we found Teri. Her prices were great, BUT what she did for us was beyond what we paid her for. She wrote a moving ceremony script like I have never heard before and it included parts of our journey and how we got here to our wedding day! It was ALL written only for US! We met with her over video calls when we wanted to just talk things through with someone, or make small changes in the ceremony script and she was totally fine with the requests.
She kept telling us that it was OUR wedding day and not to worry. We didn’t have a wedding planner or coordinator, we were doing things ourselves, so Teri made us a ceremony timeline sheet of what happens when, where, and by whom in the ceremony, it even included the signals to tell the DJ when to start any of the music choices (background music, loud wedding march, etc.).
